Bear Valley CP | 03/03/16 Workshop #1: What We Value

This is the first community workshop in the planning process for the Bear Valley Communities Plan.

  • Get information about the planning process to create a Countywide Plan and the Bear Valley Communities Plan
  • Help rank the Community’s most important strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats

Lake Arrowhead CP | Workshop #2 Meeting Location Change

Thank you to the almost 30 people who attended the first workshop for the Lake Arrowhead Communities Plan on February 29th!  We hope to double that number for the second workshop.

To accommodate a greater number of attendees for Workshop #2 (March 28, 2016), we have changed the meeting location only for the second workshop to the Mountain Communities Senior/Community Center at 675 Grandview Drive, Twin Peaks, CA 92391.

Please refer to the new flyer for all Lake Arrowhead Communities Plan workshop dates and locations.

Just a reminder that the Crest Forest CP Workshop #2 IS taking place today, March 30, 2016, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Senior Citizens Club: 24658 San Moritz Drive, Crestline, CA 92325

This will be the second community workshop in the planning process for the Crest Forest Communities Plan.

Highlights of this event will include:

  • See input generated from the first workshop
  • Discuss and rank community goals
  • Discuss and rank objectives for priority goals
  • Discuss potential land use changes related to the goals and objectives

Take Survey from Workshop #1

Click here to take a survey if you were unable to attend the workshop in your community, or attended the workshop and had additional thoughts you wanted to share with us. Responses to this survey will be considered alongside the input we received for each community during Workshop 1.

The survey will remain open until April 8th.

Bloomington CP | Event #3: Making It Happen

Dec 15 | 6:00 to 8:00 PM |  Bloomington High School Cafeteria

This event will begin with a presentation on input from the second event and then focus on implementation strategies and tools to achieve the community’s goals and objectives.

This event will include:

  • Presentation of draft goals and objectives generated by the second event
  • Display and discussion of the Draft Land Use Plan guided by input received from the community
  • Discussion and ranking of specific actions that are necessary to achieve the goals and objectives

Bloomington CP | Survey #2: Bloomington’s Future

Click here (English / Spanish) to take a survey to prioritize local objectives for Bloomington’s future.  The survey includes draft goals and objectives on:

  • Community Image
  • Economy
  • Infrastructure
  • Public Safety
  • Quality of Life
  • Town Centers

The survey also presents choices regarding the types of residential neighborhoods to be planned for Bloomington’s future.

  • Presentation on input from the first event on the community’s values
  • Discussion and ranking of community goals
  • Discussion and ranking of objectives for priority goals
  • Discussion of potential land use changes and infrastructure improvements related to the goals and objectives
